Listed below are the rules and information regarding *ArcanosLegios's chatroom, #DarkHolm. Which like the rest of this community, is designed to help our members understand what creeps on the edges of our consciousness. Please take time to read the rules as they may get changed without warning, though we do hope to keep you, our members, informed when they have been updated.

Rules:

1) No violation of base DA or dAmn policies. We would rather not like to get banned nor for the room to be closed, therefore We would rather play by the rules... somewhat. So please familiarize yourself with these policies [link] and [link]

2) No spamming. Any repeated posting of text, emote, thumbs or the like will not be tolerated

3) No Llama emote. That emote is fairly large and annoying emote, any posting of it will be considered spam (yes, even if you post it just once)

4) Limited advertising. It's ok to ask people to go to your chatroom, website, gallery or the like. But please no constant begging for more favouring of your work nor more page views. Also, if the advertising is something that is inappropiate or violates Rule 1 (ie, links to porn, porn sites, hackz or warez sites, etc), you will be banned, no questions asked. If you would like to post something which you would like to share and are unsure if it is allowed, please consult one of the staff.

5) No RPing. This is not an RP room, this is a room to discuss real, spiritual and/or meta-physical subjects. The odd actions with another member in the room is allowed, just no out right RPing.

6) No personal attacks. This includes a person's race, sex, beliefs and religion. Though this is designed to be an open discussion on topics such as belief and religion, no calling a person a heretical witch that needs to burn because s/he's a satanist and you're puritan.

7) Have an open mind. As our motto is "open eyes and open minds", we expect our members to have a similiar philosophy in regards to other people's beliefs and religion, at least in the room. If someone is making a comment about your belief and/or religion, please correct their mistake or misrepresentation in a polite and civil way... or if it really does irritate you, just try to ignore it. As fun as debates, even religious debates are, We know these can generally end up in the breaking of Rule 6

Failure to comply with the above rules will result in a warning, if such a warning is not heeded, further action will be taken by staff. Please note, that being kicked is a possible warning, not just verbal warnings. Staff will set out punishments as they see fit for the relevant indiscreation. Ie; spamming of emotes (non-llama) might be a verbal warning... posting of a porn site will have a warning via kick.



Groups - What People Are and Why They Are:

VhampyrKnight & VhampyrSeductress
These 2 groups are for the founders of the room, as such they have absolute power on the going ons of the room. Our sexy seductress is none other than *CursedDreams and her knight is *Knight-of-Sorrow.

Talos
Named after the Bronze Automaton (meaning animated statue/machine) of Greek mythology, this group is for any automatons that may be present in the room... ie, bots. At the present time, only the founders' bot will be allowed into the room... though this might change at a future date.

DarkAscendants
The room's Dark Ascendants are just that, those that have ascended pass the mortal coil of meer membership and have arisen as the room's operators and helpers to the founders. In the absence of the founders, it is this group that take charge, as such, treat them with as much respect as you would the founders.

TheAwoken
The room's senior members are those that have proven their knowledge, insight and guidance invaluable to others. Their minds and experiences act as a foundation stone for anyone else's search for answers. The reason why? Because they have fully awoken to the world behind this world.

Fledglings
Our general members group. In this place, all are equal... for they (you) all are newly awoken to the shadows that move, the noises that creak and the voices that whisper. You are but a mere fledgling ready to shake off your mortal eyes and coil...

TheLost
Visitors... guests... those who have lost their way... those that stumble through life. This is what it is to be like for those that have open minds and eyes, and yet do not realise they have. Just remember, we were all once lost until we all found our own path. As such, it would be kindly appreciated if members treat any naivity and ignorance of this group with patience.

Forsaken
A dark group that we hope many of you wish not to be here. This is a place where the forsaken go, those damned by the staff of this room. Due to some form of indiscreation of behalf of the member(s) assigned to this group, they have been seen fit to receive the punishment of silence. This means they are free to sit here and watch any discussions, but cannot voice their opinions. Thankfully, this form of punishment is only temporary.

IgnorantMasses
Like the Forsaken, this is a place of punishment. But unlike it, it is forever... to be forever banned. Unless there are special circumstances in which the indiscreation occured, or that person has proved themselves to be let back into the room. Though keep in mind, that to be unbanned is a rare thing... so do not hope that you can freely perform indiscreations as you please only to whinge/complain why you are banned.
